The Harbor Health Service Elder Service Plan (ESP), a Program for All Inclusive Care of the Elderly recently held our 4th Annual Fashion Show.  The Fashion Show featured a prelude of songs by the Elder Choir followed by the Elder Service Plan participants who modeled mid-century vintage fashions on the runway.  The fashion show is a favorite event for our Elder Service Plan participants , a testament to their personal style and beauty  which is ageless.

To close the show Susan Dolabany shared her vocal talents with the audience by singing the song  “Smile” followed by a stirring rendition of “God Bless the USA”.   Susan, a participant at the Elder Service Plan,  brought the audience to their feet singing along to her patriotic favorite “God Bless the USA”.

The Harbor Health Elder Service Plan would like to extend a very special thank you to Lynda Watson for donating her time and lovely clothing and accessories from her store Streamline Antiques in Dorchester Lower Mills.  The participants enjoyed the opportunity to walk the runway showcasing the mid-century fashions and accessories.

Harbor Health Services Elder Services Plan is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) committed to helping elders maintain good health and personal independence.  The PACE model of health care began over 30 years ago in California when the San Francisco community saw the pressing needs of families whose elders needed long term care services. From these beginnings, the PACE Model has become a nationally known program that provides a full range of care to adults over age 55 with chronic care needs while allowing them to remain in their own homes and communities for as long as possible.  PACE’s goal is to maximize the health and functioning levels of participants, enabling them to continue living in the comfort of their own homes and in the community.

The Harbor Health Services Elder Service Plan is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year serving the needs of elders residing in the community
