Got a dental appointment at Geiger Gibson Community Health Center? Jamira Diaz, Patient Access Representative, will be the first person you meet! I had the chance to ask Jamira a few questions about herself:

Michael: When did you start working at Geiger Gibson Community Health Center?

Jamira: I started on September 27th…

Michael (interrupting): Oh you know the exact date?!

Jamira: Yes, 2012.

M: I started in 2012, too! What do you like most about your job?

J: I like learning about the responsibilities of different positions and being cross-trained to do those tasks.

M: What do you like to do outside of work?

J: Oh, goodness…(pondering)….shopping at the mall.

M: Any stores in particular?

J: Any store with accessories!

M: What’s your favorite movie?

J: Carlito’s Way.

M: You like Carlito’s Way?  Benny Blanco from the Bronx?

J: Yup!

M: Favorite food?

J: Chinese Food

M: You just won a million dollars, what do you buy?

J: A house, a car and put away money for my son’s college.
